Had a wondeful time

I am home (9:00PM) now from my First Arisia and I had a wonderful time.

One note:

I got there on Thursday and went out to dinner with my friend badgerthorazine. On the way back to the hotel we ran into Kathleen (who we both know from lunacon) and Persis they are was going to ran the con suite this year. Kathleen also told us that she was in need of a lot of help, so we wound up being added to her staff. So between Thursday night and Monday afternoon [when I left] I put in 30+ hours of work. [BTW, that was me making the root beer floats].

I plan to be there next year.

Larry, I kept seeing you and may have even said hi once or twice. I'm glad you came to Arisia, and I hope you'll get to see a bit more of the con next year.

A number of people said hi to me and I kind of remember you saying hi (still not over lack of sleep yet). Of the 30+ or so items on my "want to see list", this includes panels that met at the same time [20 of them on my "A" list] I got to see 7 of them. This included the "Meet and Greet" [since it was in the con suite], "Gripe Session" [went to hear what was said about the con suite] and "Dead Dog Party". The only one a hated missing was the "home Depot in the BR".

Since I have earned a free membership for next year, I am already planning to be there. Just hope that life does not get in the way.

It was great and I know Kathleen for many years from Lunacon. I been going to Lunacon since 1984 (execpt for 2005) and when we heard how much help she needed I was volunteered ;) by . I help set up the "cold room".

I been going to Lunacon since 1984 (execpt for 2005) and was volunteer, staff and asst. committee from 1985 till 2003. So helping out at a con comes easy.

I do plan to be there next year.
