Just by the way, I discovered that if you give an email address to confirm your reservation, Starwood spams you. I believe you can make the reservation online without providing an email address, or you can use the other means of making reservations.
Odd, I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem... are you sure you didn't accidentally leave an "add to mailing list" box checked, or something?
My hotel contact expresses puzzlement; might you have a piece of hotel spam tucked away that you could forward to me, so I can show them what we're talking about?
