ARISIA Student Art Contest
Deadline for submission December 1, 2005
· Open to all secondary school students and there is no entry fee
· Theme: This year’s theme is focus. All works should be science fiction or fantasy related.
· Prizes: First place - $250, Second place - $150, Third place - $100
· Size: no larger than 18" x 24" for flat works, or 16" x 24" x 30" high for three-dimensional works.
· Entry format: digital photographs, .jpg format is preferred. One picture or photograph per 2-D work, two pictures or photographs per 3-D work. Limit six works per artist.
· Judging will be by jury selection. Preliminary judging will be done from the photo submission(s). Final judging will be done at Arisia. Artwork will be required to be on-site at the Arisia Convention, January 13 - 15, 2005.
· Finalists will receive a complimentary weekend membership to the convention, plus complimentary one-day memberships for parents.
· Finalists’ artwork will be displayed at the Arisia Art Show. All entries remain the property of the artist, and may be sold at the artist’s discretion.
