hotel room?

If you're considering giving up your room at the main Arisia hotel, I want it! I accidentally booked at the first overflow hotel a few months ago, and didn't realize it until more recently. Let me know if you have a room you don't need at the main hotel?

I have a twin-double-bed room. I've asked someone for space in their room. If I get that, or someone to share mine, I'll let you know.

There is a waiting list. Arisia wants cancellations to be made through the con so that rooms can be allocated to the next person on the waiting list.

Problem was that I *didn't* know about the wait list but everyone assumed I did so nobody told me. I found out because of surrealestate's comment. If I'd known there was a formal waiting list I'd have gotten on it a long time ago.

(This is the first year I ever didn't get a room in the main hotel when I intended to stay there, as far as I recall, so it's the first time I've ever had to try to get one after they were sold out).

BTW, it turns out thnidu also had a room at the 1st overflow hotel, and like me also thought he had a room at the main hotel. Seems there was something happening around that time, possibly shortly after the main hotel sold out, that made it easy to make that mistake and not have a clue.
