I don't remember ever getting such an e-mail when I pre-registered last year. I held onto my paper receipt and brought it to this year's con (though I never needed to actually show it).
I thought I'd registered at the con in 2011, but they didn't have a record of it, and there was nothing in my email about it, so I paid at the door this year. If I have an email confirmation, I can call home and ask my wife to check my computer if the situation arises again.
I'm more than willing to believe I flaked and forgot to register last year, but I'm hanging on to my paper receipt for 2013. :)
No e-mail confirmation for at-con year-ahead registrations. The system was not hooked up to the interent when the registration was processed, and those e-mails are generated upon processing.

I'd recommend either a) finding a way to send the confirmations out as a batch after the con, or b) making sure people know they need to hang on to their paper receipt for a year. As it is now, if there's a problem with a registration, there's no way to know until you get to next year's con, and anyone who paid cash could be out of luck.
Can we email reg@arisia.org for individual confirmations?
You can log into your registration account at http://arisia.stonekeep.com to confirm your registration. Information on how to do that can be found at http://2012.arisia.org/regFAQ
Thanks! I never knew this existed, as I've always registered at-con. Since I never explicitly signed up for such an account, I wonder what my password might be?
I want to second the thanks for this post. I never knew about this either and find it VERY useful. This is a great way to double check myself if I remembered to register while at the con or not (there have been a few years where I caught them just as they were about to shut down due to my swiss-cheese memory :)
Brilliant! Thank you — that's a good system. (Does "Adult YA" mean adult/young adult?) If you guys ever get the reg forms reprinted, those instructions might be a good thing to print at the bottom, since the site is really extremely handy.
