Sorry to bug you all with this, but I have no idea who else to ask. My daughter left two pairs of shoes at the hotel. Who do I contact about getting them back? Someone told me "security" and gave me a number that rang and rang. The Arisia website has no information on security, or lost and found. Should I just contact the hotel? Thanks.

I would start by contacting the hotel, especially if the shoes were left in your room. If they were left in Fast Track, then hopefully Arisia ops will be getting in touch with you soon.

Hi :) I was in Fast Track for the most of the weekend, and brought everything that we had in our lost and found over to security when we closed up. If your daughter was in Fast Track (since the poster above mentioned Fast Track), I can help by saying that I didn't have any shoes in the items I brought over to security, so that's one less avenue to worry about.

Try emailing security@arisia.org and/or operations@arisia.org. They hold onto the items after con and then try to sort them out and get a list together within the next week or so that gets publicized. It may take them a day or so to get back to you, though...the people involved are probably exhausted and planning on catching up on sleep as well as helping move everything out of the hotel after the con.

I do recommend checking with the hotel as well, though. Some items that aren't obviously fan related end up in their hands.

I would CALL the hotel front desk. The hotel should have their own lost and found. Hotel staff is notorious for being bad at communicating via e-mail.

I called the hotel's front desk myself about a lost item, was transferred to hotel security, and talked to someone who took down our info but hasn't called us back in four days. I guess I'll try security@arisia.org next.
