There will be an Arisia PARTY at Boskone! Friday night - yes, that's tomorrow! er, I mean, TODAY! - about an 8 pm start. Room number TBA, will be posted to FB and Twitter. (I'm arisiacrystal on Twitter, if that's helpful, but

traingeek has also said the info will be distributed for us. Thanks!)

We'll have cookies (made by

hakamadare and

omnia_mutantur!), some other tidbits of food, origami, and lots of fun. We could use a couple more volunteers for setup and cleanup, though. Anyone else want to join us?

Will the room number also be posted on a sign or bulletin board? I don't bring any web-enabled device to the con so I won't see anything that you post on Facebook or Twitter (or LJ, for that matter)

Although it's too late to matter now, that link took me to the main Facebook page rather than to Arisia's page.

It was a great party -- I enjoyed meeting Kate (a YA writer whose last name I don't remember right now).

Odd, it works for me. I wonder why. Oh well - search up Arisia, Inc and Like the page, then it'll show up in your feed.

Safari seems to interpret a # as "end of URL, beginning of fragment ID" -- maybe Firefox works differently?

(Still curious how many folks will show up in your room Saturday night because the party was listed on both nights of the party announcement board in the Galleria)

Firefox does the same. That's the standard for how URLs are defined. Many websites are using fragment IDs to determine what content to load with Javascript. It's terrible practice, but unfortunately becoming fairly common.
