LJ event at Arisia 2006?

arisiaEveryone seems to agree that there should be some sort of LJ event at Arisia next year. "Mixer" and "social" are the words I've heard most often. But what form should the event take?
I guess part of the answer depends on what people here would like to achieve. To meet LJ friends face-to-face? Increase their friend lists? What else?
Please share your ideas.

We used to have button making dealers at Arisia for many years... whatever happened to them?

the only downfall I see for that is potential readibility. could be fun for getting people closer for flirting tho. dunno.

Date: 2005-02-01 09:15 pm (UTC)I believe I have one with the multiple wheels & yards+yards of the impression tape to run through it. YOu rotate the wheel to the letter/symbol you want, kerchunk the handle to imprint the tape, rotate the wheel to the next character, kerchunk the handle, et cetera.
How's that?
