ConCom Meeting, July 20th, 2pm - Milford, MA

The next Arisia '09 Con Comm meeting is a party at my place on Sunday, July 20, at 2 pm (and runs until 9pm). Like all Arisia ConCom meetings, this is open to everyone involved with Arisia, and anyone who might be interested in finding out more about Arisia.

Food: We will have a grill with hot dogs and hamburgers and some cheese. Perhaps even some chicken.

We have a popcorn machine ready and able to do its thing.

Feel free to bring food for a potluck to share with others.

Games: Rick has volunteered to bring his Guitar Hero setup. There's a new PS3 in my living room (not compatible with old PS2 games). It is available for use.

If the weather is good, the backyard had plenty of room for croquet, badminton, bocce, .... If someone has game you'd like to play, please bring it. There's even room for a trebuchet, but please point it away from the house.

Inside there's there are a couple of large tables with plenty of room for games.

Transportation: We live in Milford, just outside of 495. There is a commuter train line that goes to 495/Forge Village from in town. Rides will be available from the train station.

Also, Carpooling is encouraged (if you need a ride, please let us know).

Remember to bring your family and friends. Let them see what you do in your spare time, for fun. Maybe they'd like to help? Maybe they'd just like to see the kind of people you hang out with in January at a hotel when it's likely to snow.


The Northern Lights Costumers' Guild is also meeting that day at my house starting at 10 am with breakfast. Arisians are welcome to come early, and RSVP to make sure there's enough breakfast.

Jeeze, I wish I could attend. I'd love to be there for the Costumers' Guild meeting too; my son is filled with grandiose ideas for a costume (he's six years old, it comes with the territory - and he's been this way every since he was in the last Kamikze Kids).

Unfortunately I have absolutely no costuming skills. :(
