Hello!

I hope everyone is having a great start to the holiday season, the
Intercon-E elves have been hard at work trying to provide you with
the best LARPing convention ever, and I am pleased to announce the
latest creations by the master toy-makers of Intercon-E. (aka the GMs)

In order to play in these wonderful games, you need to be a registered and paid member of Intercon E. You can accomplish this by going to the Intercon E website at http://www.interactiveliterature.org/E

More info on the games here )

If you're interested in running a tabletop game at Arisia, here's what you'll need to provide:

1. Your name and contact information. That's name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

2. A description of the event. This should include:
a. The name of the game.
b. The system under which it's being run.
c. A short description of the event. A paragraph or two should be fine — just enough to get prospective attendees interested.
d. The minimum and maximum number of players you'll accept.
e. Level of experience expected. "Beginners Welcome" games have a different feel from "Experts Only". Are you willing to teach people who haven't played your game before?
f. Materials required. Will players need to bring their own characters? Will there be enough dice for everyone? Things like that.

3. The date and time slot of the event. Please be as specific as possible, and remember that you must run three or more hours of gaming in order to earn a complimentary membership. Popular slots are Friday evening (7p-11p), Saturday morning (10a-2p), Saturday afternoon (2p-6p), Saturday overnight (10p-2a) and Sunday morning (10a-2p).

4. Preferred table type. We've got round, square, and oblong. (Oblong works nicely for two-player games like Magic, for example.) We'll do our best to accommodate requests.

5. Special needs. If your game needs special consideration, tell us. (Encore comes to mind, here, along with certain incarnations of Paranoia.) Again, we'll do our best to accommodate.

Send the descriptions to me at gaming@arisia.org, or reply to one of these messages. I'm also be looking for volunteers to monitor the Gaming Room during the course of the con. You can use the above means to
express interest in that, too.

Any questions or comments? Write me. Here's to making Arisia 2K5 gaming spectacular!
