I have read 75% of the post regarding how the con changed to something you liked or hated. I've read about how people thought that programing did or did not reflect what you wanted. Arisia is shaped by you. You want Dogs. You ask for dogs. You get Dogs. You want Ocelots. OK Ocelots

Tell us what you want. We will do our best to reflect your wishes. But do it now. In August it is late. Now when the con is fresh in your memory is the best time.

I am a little put off by the "read 75 percent."

I know it's frustrating to have people complain about what you did -- been there -- but there may be gems in the last 25 percent.

I hope you're also reading the wonderfully positive comments that keep coming across my screen.

I have a lot of thoughts, and I will follow up.

I think this is an excellent idea for discussion.

Arisia is pretty much what I want. In terms of grand vision, the only thing that bothers me are the occasional attempts by some people involved to turn it back towards focusing more on "core" scifi stuff, or otherwise limiting some of the activities/programming that seem to them to be a little out of scope, despite being popular with people who attend Arisia. As long as those attempts are always successfully fended off (and so far, they have been), I think Arisia will remain what I want it to be.
