Hi,
Just letting everyone know, that is involved with Hotel Liason, that the Boston Park Plaze finally got back to me, about the double charge on my Credit Card. This year's check in was pretty messed up. I know that the room people work real hard, but is there a way to make things a little smoother for next year for those that do group reservations on the rooms? Like maybe get the hotel to let us call them again to set up the rooms or something? I don't mind a fair amount of confusion in regards to getting your room, that's a given when you consider how many people are checking in and what the available hotel space is that is used. But, at the same time, I don't like the fact that the Hotel, screwed up my credit card charges, by charging me for a room, that someone else was suppsed to pay for. Just wondering what is what in regards to the rooms at arisia, since I didn't make it to the gripe session. Other than that, we had fun.

Before I answer about the reservation system, I thought I'd mention that the room reservation system and the billing system are pretty separate, and I don't think, unfortunately, that making your reservation by telephone or any other way, if it had been available, would have helped with your billing situation at all.

That said, the hotel is working on a new reservations system which we hope will result in fewer problems at check-in time. But we haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

Hey at least they are looking to make the situation better. I'll give them brownie points for that. But then again, i've always liked the boston park plaza.
