[identity profile] zyxwvut.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] arisia
Okay, another idea. As a nicety, it'd be good to know the font in which the name of the Con appears on the official [livejournal.com profile] arisia website. (And hope that it's installed on my Mac-hine.)

Does somebody know? (And where I can find it for the Mac? Or what's the name of a close-resembling Mac built-in font?)

Thanks!

Z

P.S.: I put out a stack of flyers on Friday night at [livejournal.com profile] baycon, and they were actually gone by the last day of the con, when I put out some more (and some, not all, of those disappeared by the end of the hiss-and-purr panel). I think people might have taken a few from my party, too. :-D

When I clicked on the link in your lead paragraph, it led me ... right back to this page. If I hadn't remembered "www.arisia.org", I'd've had to Google it.

The HTML for the page doesn't specify a font for the title; it's classed as
<h1 class="site-name">
but my not-quite-mad CSS skills haven't enabled me to find that class, or any of the others I see in the code, in the style sheets listed or used on the page. Sorry.

you'd need to dig down to a css page, and *then* the included css page imports another css page, which results in this:

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
color: #006666;
}
