Arisia Relaxacon Hotel Room Block

FYI, contrary to what it says on the hotel page when you first go to make a reservation online, the Arisia Relaxacon Hotel Room Block is still open. We actually have last room availability at the contracted rate (until the hotel sells out, if it sells out). Unfortunately Hilton is a big corporation and having the right hand (local hotel people) get the left hand (web IT people) to change the web text is hard if not impossible.

But, I'd encourage people to make their hotel reservations ASAP anyway. You can always cancel them, the hotel just might sell out, and the more reservations we have the easier it will be to deal with the hotel...

In case it wasn't clear from the previous message, if you just continue the online hotel booking process, it should work and let you book at the Arisia rate. If not, please send mail to arisia.relaxacon@gmail.com and tell us how it failed. Thanks.

FYI, calling the hotel's 800 line is also an exercise in the right hand not seeing the left hand flip it the finger. :P We do have a reservation confirmed, but it was really frustrating.
