I bought some DVDs from Science Fiction Continuum (a.k.a. S&J Productions?) at Arisia 2007, and returned some defective ones for replacement. That was January, and I haven't gotten the replacements. Lately, I haven't been able to reach them by phone (just the S&J answering machine, no returned calls) or by email to find out what's up.
Anyone know if they're still in business? Their con page lists Lunacon, ICON, and Anime Boston among the recent cons they planned to attend. If they've shown up, that'd be an interesting data point. If not, I guess I try to figure out if they've filed for bankruptcy or something, and if I have any hope of getting my money back....

Date: 2007-04-30 12:03 am (UTC)I must have an incorrect address since the package was returned to us. If you can email the correct address I can send your dvd's out. The are just sitting on the shelf - already boxed. Email your name and correct address to sfcontinuum at aol. com
problem resolved
Date: 2007-05-25 02:10 pm (UTC)I got the replacements two or three weeks ago, and so far, the ones I've watched have all been fine.
When I've been in touch with them, they've been pleasant and helpful. But as I described above, actually getting in touch was a problem... :(
