Does anyone know about when Check-In at the Hyatt is? I am taking the day off of work and would like to get there before rush hour.

...thankfully, there is no chance that the President will be staying at the Hyatt the day before the con!

On the website, the check in time is 4 p.m., which is getting into rush hour. However, most hotels will let you in a little earlier if your assigned room is clean and available. The hotel's phone number is 617 492 1234 if you'd like to check on this

I would imagine, given the sheer number of people they will need to check in at around 4, that they'll likely let people start checking in before that. Anyway if you plan to arrive at 3:30 and park and unload and whatnot, you'll miss rush hour and it'll be almost 4 by the time you get near the desk anyway.

Also, the hotel will be about half empty the night before. Which means if you try to check in at noon, you have a decent chance of it working.

If the room is not available, the hotel has free luggage check.

And if you need to kill time while waiting for your room to open up, you can always volunteer for a little while. :)

Thanks, Dru. I called to confirm my reservation yesterday, and they put in an Early Check-in Request for me for 1:00.
