arisia | Panel seeing perticipants (Reply)

Hello, everyone! I'm moderating the panel, below, and we're looking for a few more folks to act as panel discussants. We already have panel participants that can speak to VK as a musical genre, (though we'd take a few more). We'd love to have people that can speak to modern Japanese culture and fashion, in general, to help provide a background.

Unfortunately, we're scheduled for 9:30am on Saturday morning, which I know is a really rough panel time for people. Please let me know if you're interested in getting out of bed early and being part of the fun! Dressing creatively in the VK or Lolita style is highly encouraged.

What is Visual Kei? A Japanese fashion, musical genre, and subculture portrayed by many J-rock stars. Come find out more about the style and music of Visual Kei, which draws influences from glam, punk, and goth. Panelists should know their Lady Gaga from their Miyuzaki. DVD player and projector available. Panelists should bring media for show-n-tell.
