Hi,
I'm new to the US and to New England. My friend, Lisa Hertel, invited me to come to Arisia and I really want to attend, but I neglected to make sure I had crash space in advance.
I am a 24 years old female and an international student from Israel. I'm kind of shy, so I don't really know how to ask people if they have extra room etc. Lisa told me I could try and post this request to this LJ community.
Unfortunately, I also have a bad back and I am mobility impaired. That means that I can't stay at a place that is too far from the actual con's location, and that I can't sleep on a floor. Getting a room by myself is also far too expensive for an international student's budget, so right now it's basically a choice between lucking out and finding crash space or only attending in a very minimal fashion. I live in nearby Worcester, but traveling back and forth will be very hard for me.
I'd prefer to share a room with other women, but will share a room with a guy if clear boundaries are set and kept. I'm very quiet and clean and I don't intend to 'party out' at the con.
I realize that it's probably far too late to see if anyone still has an available space, but hey, it's worth a try.
Please let me know if you know of anyone who needs a roommate and can provide a bed.
I can be reached at this e-mail address:

Thank you,
Michelle Talmor.
