pre-feedback about pre-panel

One piece of feedback about the con that I can give before the con starts :)
Once again the "intro" panel (Con-Going 101: Planning, Budgeting, & Surviving) - which I think is a great idea - is happening Friday early evening, where it will do the least good. Not only do relatively few people make it to Arisia that early, but the newcomers who'd generally benefit most from this panel are the ones least likely to get their bearings and figure out how to find what they want at the con on their first evening. Instead, they'll hear about it socializing or at parties later that night, or notice it on their schedule once they finally retire to their rooms, unless they're lucky.
IMO we should have a panel like this every year, late Saturday morning (around 11 or noon). Not only will that make it a lot more likely that newbies will discover it in time, it'll also mean they'll have a little bit of con experience to connect with what they discuss at the panel, but it will still be in time to affect their con experience almost to the same extent as if they'd had it the night before.
Edit: I notice there's also "Introduction to Arisia" Friday at 7pm, which is slightly better, but all of what I said above applies to the timing of that one as well. I wish it were late morning / midday Saturday instead.
