I know it's probably much too early to bring this up, but I can't help wishing that panelists could have a forum to discuss how their panels went this year, and what might work better next year. My one panel in the art area was almost impossible to find and consequently not well-attended; granted, it was also at 11AM on Monday, but I almost didn't find the place myself!

For next year, I'm going to suggest a Rhode Island panel (among many others). A bunch of us Ocean-staters happened to be on a panel and in the audience, and it was clear that there was a lot of interest in talking about bookstores and other fan-related stuff in RI. I wouldn't be surprised if the same could be said of other states and regions, too!

And how about a World of Warcraft social? Were there any socials this year?

I know that folks have pointed out that there are other repositories out there as well, I just did not dig thru the archives to find them and post them there also.

Thank you to Crystal for pulling together great GOHs and staff to make a great con.

Thank you to all of the divheads, areaheads and assorted staff members for putting on a fantastic con in a brand new (to us) hotel.

Thank you to the attendees for your patience while we learn our new home and for going to our events and panels and having a great time.

Thank you all!

Seconding the kudos to Crystal and her staff. It was a great con, and we had a wonderful time.

One small(ish) matter: I went into a room on Dealers' Row and the air was so thick with incense that my asthma was triggered and I fled immediately but had to spend a bit of time recovering in another room. I wouldn't want to ask anybody not to have incense (or heavy perfume, for that matter), but I'd be very grateful if anybody who has it in a room or other small space could perhaps put a warning note on the door. Thanks!

The good, the bad and well, maybe not the ugly, but you get the point.

Thanks again, one and all!

Really, after an hour this guy must have been baking thus making it the hottest costume in the con.

Man in suit from old Ed Wood movie

And these two would make perfect source material for a Noble Lady/Mercenary Lady adventure story.  Can't remember who is on the left but that is Ms. Eldrege on the right.

I was reading the post below about Dealers Row.

Could someone explain to me why a dealer would
want to use  Dealers Row instead of the Dealers Room?

My main objection to dealers row is the accessibility issue.
My wife uses a scooter to get around which makes dealers
row impossible for her.   So she never got
to use it at the Hyatt or at the Westin.

I have to wonder how much business these dealers loose
by going with deelers row instead of the dealers room.

Somewhat different for me. Instead of a video, this is ONLY an audio episode (I was in another room shooting video)  The Sunday morning panel THINGS EVERYONE LOVES (BUT I DON'T)n1jdu.org/Fandom/Sci_Fi_Fandom_56a.mp3
