Overflow hotel

There was discussion on a friend's LJ on how to get to the Westin from the overflow hotel by public transit, and I don't think anything has been posted here or on the Arisia site. Here's my best shot at it; refinements and corrections are welcome.
The closest subway station to the Doubletree appears to be Tufts Medical Center. From here, take an Oak Grove train to Downtown Crossing. Transfer to an Ashmont or Braintree train on the Red Line, and go to South Station. Go to the Silver Line area; the Silver Line is a bus service, but you board without needing an additional ticket or transfer. Take the SL1 or SL2 to World Trade Center. From there, come out the front and cross the bridge, and the hotel will be ahead of you. The walk is about a quarter of a mile.
On the return trip, take the Alewife train on the Red Line and transfer at Downtown Crossing to the Forest Hills train on the Orange Line.
If you're just in Boston for the weekend, you'll be buying a Charlie Ticket; each trip is one subway fare. There are machines selling them in all the stations.
