Anyone up for Graphic Novel Launch Party?

While I was unable to attend on Monday due to the weather, I had a fabulous time while I was there. Thanks to everyone who came by my table in the Pro's Nest. I may have mentioned that I have a new book coming out, and you're all invited to come the launch party. Here's the details:
"Paradigm Shift - Part Three: Emergence" Launch Party next Saturday at the Atomic Bean in Cambridge. There will be coffee, cake, and original artwork on the walls, and I'll be drawing sketches for anyone who asks! I may also be selling copies of the new book, too. ;)

Arisia con report, by an actual fan

Having read through the Wet Asphalt thread [ http://bit.ly/8Wt2d6 ], I felt that Arisia was getting pretty harsh treatment from (a) someone who "wanted" to have a good time but didn't, and (b) someone who has some serious anger management issues and a wicked hatred of fandom or tribalism of any sort . Except for the punk scene, of course, which is sacred! We all know how healthy and adjusted the punk crowd is. hmmph.
Anyway, from a person who is proud to be a fan, (and also likes Jello Biafra, go figure!) here's my account of Arisia 2010 and the sessions I attended:
con report: techno-fantasy fest, in a kilt
were there juvenile goings on? absolutely! did the con-suite get sort of swampy? you bet! were there posers and poseurs, artists and artistes, the wretched and the profane? sure, bring it on! and see you all next year.
