Just a big THANK YOU to the ConCom for your warm reception at Monday evening's final general meeting. I appreciate the interest expressed to resolve problems and promote another successful drive. I confirmed the layout and siting with the hotel staff, who express confidence there won't be any problems. Bravo, all! Lookin' good!

Hello everyone! For the last couple of years at Arisia, the Heinlein Society has held a blood drive with the assistance of the fabulous Naughty Nurses. This year I'm looking for new recruits to volunteer with our Naughty Nurses.

Duties include performing a simple skit at the beginning of Rocky Horror Friday night at midnight. We also need people to assist potential donors at the Heinlein society table, hand out fliers, and attend events at the con to get the word out about the blood drive. We do not aggressively pursue donors, and are much happier to let them come to us if they are interested. And they do come to us because we appear in very sexy nurse costumes!

We need people on Friday afternoon and evening, and on Saturday morning through the afternoon. You do not have to sign up for the whole con. Even just an hour or two of your time is a huge help. Scheduling is always flexible. And who really considers walking around in a hot nurse's outfit socializing and getting your picture taken lots hard work? Men are welcome as well as women because they can make wonderful (and sexy nurses).
