There really aren't that many benefits to being a conchair- you get to wear a silly hat, choose a GOH and maybe you get some say on what the Tshirt looks like. This is in exchange for giving up your life for more than a year.
So I'd like to take a collection (as one was taken when I was chair) to outfit our intrepid conchair in a Utilikilt- the last two years have seen kilted conchairs, so we seem to have the beginnings of another of Arisia's silly traditions.
They run about $150-200, depending on the model, and I'd like to see him get the nicest one possible. 20 contributions of ten dollars would just about do it.
If you plan on being at the con com meeting on the 12th, I'll accept your contributions there in such a way as to not distrupt the meeting.
