At-con pre-reg con-firmations?

For those of us who pre-registered for Arisia 2013 at the con, does anyone know when (or if) we should expect an email confirmation? Thankee!

I don't remember ever getting such an e-mail when I pre-registered last year. I held onto my paper receipt and brought it to this year's con (though I never needed to actually show it).

I earned a comp registration last year, and received a confirmation email in early August.

No e-mail confirmation for at-con year-ahead registrations. The system was not hooked up to the interent when the registration was processed, and those e-mails are generated upon processing.

You can log into your registration account at http://arisia.stonekeep.com to confirm your registration. Information on how to do that can be found at http://2012.arisia.org/regFAQ

Thanks! I never knew this existed, as I've always registered at-con. Since I never explicitly signed up for such an account, I wonder what my password might be?

Since I have no idea what password might have been assigned to me, I tried to reset it. I got this in response, and don't understand what it means:

type Exception report

message

description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

exception

java.lang.Exception: No such template 'Reminder-1' found for event 24

followed by a really long stack trace that I'm not going to paste in here.

Please read the above linked FAQ. It will tell you to do a "forgot password" which will reset the password on your account.

Try Again Now.

Much better now.

The reset password ended up in my Junk folder, but that's Apple Mail's fault, not yours.

I want to second the thanks for this post. I never knew about this either and find it VERY useful. This is a great way to double check myself if I remembered to register while at the con or not (there have been a few years where I caught them just as they were about to shut down due to my swiss-cheese memory :)

"Adult YA" means "Adult Year-Ahead" (purchased at the previous con)
