Recordings?

Do any of you know if Arisia will be offering DVDs or audio recordings of panels?

There are some panels that I'm interested in, but don't necessarily feel the need to participate in and knowing I could purchase recordings would free up my schedule considerably.

Contacting other panelists?

Does anyone know a good way to contact other panelists? That was a great feature over on Zambia a few years ago, I think, but we don't seem to be able to do that any more. I think panels could be much improved if the panelists had a chance to confer and prepare a bit in advance.

Patrick McGoohan, RIP

Patrick McGoohan, the creator and star of the cult TV show The Prisoner, died yesterday in Los Angeles. He was 80 years old.

Would a retrospective panel on him be appropriate, do you think?

Question About Registration

I'm only planning to attend on Saturday. Will I be able to register for Saturday on Friday night so I won't have to spend time waiting in line on Saturday?

The Knight's Challenge — 2hr — President's AB

A historically inspired fencing challenge and tourney. Like Knights of old our Champion will set out his shield and take-on all comers to win glory and renown. Each challenger will face off against the Champion of Kunstbruder (the Brotherhood of the Art of Defence). Once each challenger has faced him down the best challengers will face-off against each other to determine the Victor.

Does anyone know what rules they are using? Collegiate, SCA, boffer, something else? Live steel? Equipment provided?

Arisia Membership to Transfer (not me, my mom)

My mom was planning to come to the con, but she's not going to be able to make it. It would be awesome to transfer her membership. I'm happy to transfer it for $50.
