Patrick McGoohan, RIP

Patrick McGoohan, the creator and star of the cult TV show The Prisoner, died yesterday in Los Angeles. He was 80 years old.

Would a retrospective panel on him be appropriate, do you think?

That makes me even sadder. I love Ian McKellan, but... a miniseries? Hell, a remake of any kind?

True. That would require some retaliation.

Did you know someone put the episodes of the original series online?

I haven't watched it yet, but a friend linked me to this:

No need to stop worshipping the show! I just rewatched a few last week. Sigh.

But probably NOT too late to get a bunch of ribbons made up! (I am not a volunteer. I am a FREE FAN!)

And the people who get "2" and "6" fight over who leads?

Until the weather balloons come and sort it all out...

It's my understanding that after Mr McGoohan died, he suddenly awoke to find himself in a small flat in London.

(wishful thinking, I know-- be seeing you, Patrick!)

Sadly I think it's to late to dedicate an entire panel to him. I think I shall suggest the convention start a regular panel to memorialize all the people we have lost in the past year. Does any one else feel older as the heroes of their youth pass?

So much for getting him to judge the KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN-yelling contest next year.

Patrick McGoohan, R.I.P.

A last minute panel would be cool.

Mr. McGoohan now has the chance to meet "the real" Number One.

Orange Alert!
