Less than a week to go!
Have you registered yet? We will have Friday* one-day memberships available at the con (we'll re-visit this subject POST con, thank you). We may even have some full weekend memberships available early on Friday. But your best bet is to buy your weekend membership now.
*We'll almost assuredly have Sunday and Monday one-daycomps erm, memberships available for purchase on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
See you soon!

By 'comp', do you mean complimentary? If so, then your final sentence confuses me. Why would people buy complimentary memberships?

I'll put a titch more information into the pot:
It is 6 days before the convention opens. We have processed about 100 more registrations now than we did 6 days before the convention opened last year, and last year we sold out of full memberships on Saturday morning.
About 4/5ths of the registration cap has been reached, even leaving out the various non-Saturday single day memberships and comps.
If you want a single day membership for Friday/Sunday/Monday, you're probably okay, since we're not counting those single day memberships against the cap. [Edit: Unless the concom decides the hotel feels too full.]
If you want a single day Saturday, odds are unfortunately good that you're going to be out of luck since those count against our cap. If we reach our cap on Friday, we will just not be selling any Saturday day memberships. I'll make a point of posting to the Arisia LJ after we close registration on Friday (11pm) whether or not we have more full memberships to sell, and roughly how many.
At this time, my best advice is that if you want either a full membership or a Saturday membership, purchase a full membership now. I know $60 for a full membership is more than $40 for a Saturday membership -- you may consider purchasing a $60 full membership now to be a $40 Saturday membership with a $20 insurance policy against it being sold out if that makes it easier. Or you could look at it as a very expensive Saturday membership with bonus free days (ie Fri/Sun/Mon) that you have the option of taking advantage of.
Or you could decide that if you only have one day to play, you'd rather come Sunday when your odds of getting in are much better, and it's a bit cheaper too ($30 instead of $40).
One added bonus for purchasing a membership now -- badge pickup goes lots faster for yourself and for everyone else behind you if all we have to do is confirm identity and print the badge.
See you at Arisia!
