Looking for an IT Assistant to help with Arisia 2016!
Arisia 2016 Staff is looking for volunteers for at-con positions! Currently, we are looking for an IT Assistant.
Responsibilities: Operations IT needs someone to assist in the setup and testing of wireless networks for Arisia staff functions. No specific technical skills are required, as the work will be done in conjunction with the area head. However, experience setting up wireless routers and access points is a plus, as is an interest in taking over the area for some future convention.
Time: Must be available to work mostly on Thursday during the afternoon and/or evening, as well as on Friday during the day, as these networks should be in place before the convention opens on Friday. Some assistance may also be needed during the con itself addressing problems if and as they arise.
