Hotel rooms at the Hyatt and the Courtyard

There have been some issues with blocking rooms in the Hyatt, which we are in the process of getting straightened out.  In the meantime, if you have tried to reserve a room and been unable to, send email to innkeeper@arisia.org to get on the waiting list, and we will do our best to get your reservation sorted out.  If you made a reservation, but did not get all of the nights you wanted, please include the reservation number(s).

Also, please note that the overflow hotel this year is the Courtyard by Marriott near Trader Joe's on Memorial Drive, rooms there are $99, and there will be a shuttle to the overflow hotel from at least 9am to 1am each day.  We are well aware that the shuttle is critical to those at the overflow hotel (and those who just want to get food) and we continue to focus on making that as good an experience as possible.

Thanks for your hard work. I thought something might be up when it sold out so quickly.

If we can't get to the Hyatt, should we assume that there's a chance that the overflow hotel could get sold out, as well? Has that happened in the last few years?

The overflow hotel is very unlikely to sell out this year. We have never had the overflow hotel sell out, and in this case, they will happily take as many reservations as they can get. (Hotels are having a tough year, unsurprisingly.)

Yes we tried to book rooms today, online and we called the hotel directly.
We were told that they we sold out. We sent an email to the innkeeper and hope to hear back soon.
