My position is a new direction hotels are experimenting with. As the Experience Specialist I am in charge of hotel packages and planning all of our different travel experiences. The other part of my job is to plan and arrange our afternoon activities. Tuesdays through Fridays our guests are able to attend different events, like Sushi University (You learn to roll Sushi and taste different Sakis) or Jazz Jam (A wine and cheese with 50's beatnick Jazz). My favorite is my "Science Lab Martini Experiments". When planning this I let loose my inner geek. Using IV Bottles, Test Tubes, Beakers and other Lab Equipment, I teach guests to make their own martini. I gave it a Sci-Fi twist inspired by the old Serials I grew up watching.
