Again, I call for help here on LJ.
My last plea had one response, and that person did not respond to help.

Is there anyone who remembers the Orange Orgy who wants to participate in such a party this year?

Being that this is my FIRST arisia, can I ask what a Orange Orgy is ;)

With permission, I'll repost to my personal LJ, as I know of at least one participant in the Orange Orgy who's on my friends list. Many others may wish to help.

Also with permission, I'll let others know that can forward on the request.

Is there a theme for this year, yet? And what form would the participation take?

It was, as I recall, an entirely Orange party. And loads of fun, at least for the rampant extroverts.

We are not having an "Orange Orgy" this year.

what we "do" is create an immersion experience in a party.
Everything is decorated
Everyone is decorated
The music goes with "the theme". Oh, and we have music! In my experience Arisia parties don't have so much DJ's.
There is food. Yummy Food.

Mostly, our trademark will be, a party experience you can be immersed into an entire reality.

And things will be overdecorated, there will be food, and a DJ.
Oh, yeah, and the hosts will be roleplaying and you will be able to play along, if you like.

Any help at all is helping. Like finding more people who can help, this helps.

If you want, I can add you to the email list and then you can see our aquisition requests. Stuff for decorating the place is much needed. And food. Real food, not the snack food which abounds at all cons. Like a big old tray of cheap mac n cheese, as an example. These are things which help, without adding extra work time into your con experience.

Also, if you would rather show up and be a "roleplaying host" We need people to do this. We need people to play butterflies, mad scientists, and splinter cell agents. And I mean the roleplaying part, as hosts and hostesses we interact with the party goers in character.

I could be a mad scientist, sure.. food is a bit harder since I'm already helping with food for both staff den and con suite. but I'd be willing to pick stuff up at Costco if needed.

Your right at midnight not a panel. But I would guess that maybe they are showing Rocky Horror at midnight. I only seen it xx time ;) [or some other movie].

But your right midnight is party time. Thats what I do when I go to Lunacon.

I forgot about movies.
I just am so interested in parties that I would rather party than go to the film rooms at midnight. But we will be partying strong then.

I actually just had a friend talk about how she is an introvert and would rather not go to the big con parties, too many people.

There is something for everyone at Arisia! This is a good Con, you are sure to have a good time.

If food is hard for you to do, then no worries. Food will be easy for someone else.

Would you be able to bring some kind of "Labratory" type of art work or prop to help decorate the room the "Mad Scientists" belong to? It does not have to be real lab equipment, it just needs to help make the room look like a lab. (It is where the DJ will be, and the walls will be black with chalkboard style equations written down, waiting for mad scientists to solve...)

I know I will. I have friends there and hope to make some new ones.
