Oh, well. I almost didn't make it to the Mad Scientist Laugh Contest. My cornerstone event (the eric_in_elevatr screening) ended at 10:30, and I was having real buyer's remorse at having booked an 11:00. The GoH liaison offered to me 3 times that I could skip it, but it was a real point of pride of me to not blow off any programming elements. I turned out to be glad that I'd gone, because I really enjoyed hamming it up and making the audience laugh.
