In my opinion, one of the problems with the new convention center is that Arisia doesn't have as much negotiation leverage with a space that size as they do with a smaller space. When Boskone was there, the rooms were more expensive, they didn't negotiate free Wi-Fi, and, in general, the staff wasn't as accomodating.
However, the space was larger, and there were more places to do things. So it's a trade-off.
It's not as T-accessable as the Park Plaza, but is about as good as the Hyatt.
