Masquerade audience seating

Is the general layout for the audience seating at the Masquerade the same as last year?

First, I am not in charge this time and am not an official source.

However, from the layout diagrams I have seen of the main event space, the stage and the rest of the room are very similar to last year. That doesn't leave a whole lot of variation room in how the seating can be done.

I do remember there was some obstacle that made the way back left seats really exceptionally lousy... but I don't remember what it was. I hope those who followed me have learned from it. If anyone remembers, please let me know so I can kick my successor in the correct place to try and make sure it doesn't happen again ;-)

The film riser was left in place last year at slight house left, 3/4 back. That won't be happening again, though there will still be a videography riser at house center.

I would also gently remind the powers that be that there were quite a few open rows in the front section which were reserved yet remained empty for the duration of the show. The back seats were godawful, quite honestly, but I suspect that there is not much that can be done about that.
